Product Description

Slip On Plate Flange is suitable for connection of steel pipe with nominal pressure not exceeding 2.5MPa. The sealing surface of flat welded flange can be made into smooth, concave and convex and tenon type three. The application of smooth flat welding flange is larger. It is mainly used in the case of moderate medium conditions, such as low pressure unpurified compressed air and low pressure circulating water. Its advantage is that the price is cheaper.

The flat welding flange has certain technical requirements and parameters in production and use, and is produced and processed according to certain methods:
1. The steel plate for production of flat welding flange shall pass ultrasonic flaw detection without lamination defects to ensure good quality and performance. It shall be produced and inspected according to the specified quality requirements to ensure that the steel plate produced and used has no qualitative problems,
2. The cylindrical surface, which shall be cut into strips along the rolling direction of steel, bent and butt welded into a ring shape and formed into a ring on the surface of steel, shall not be directly machined into a neck flange by steel plate during the production of butt flange, make and process with certain technology
3. Butt welding flange shall be welded with a certain welding process. Full penetration weld shall be used for the butt weld of the ring,
4. The welding seam of the ring shall be subject to post weld heat treatment and 100x ray or ultrasonic flaw detection, and the radiographic flaw detection shall comply with the level II requirements of JB4730. Ultrasonic flaw detection shall comply with the river level requirements of JB4730. Butt welding method certain welding standards and technologies are adopted for the production and processing of the flange to meet the corresponding national production standards and requirements:
Flat welding flange is a kind of disk shaped part, which is most common in pipeline engineering. Flanges are used in pairs. In pipeline engineering, flanges are mainly used for pipe connection. In various installations of pipes to be connected one flange plate, low pressure pipeline can use screw flange, welding flange can be used for pressure above 4 kg, and sealing points are added between two butt welding flanges, and then flanges with different pressures are fastened with bolts, different thickness and use of different bolts.
