Our 12Cr5Mo(ASTM A182 F5) Weld Neck Flange PN40 with Tongue-Groove face is applied for high-temperature &
high-pressure process piping in refineries, petrochemical plants and coal-chemical projects.
The material 12Cr5Mo features excellent high-temperature strength and good resistance to high-temperature sulfide
corrosion. It is suitable for hot hydrocarbon, high-temperature steam and H2S-containing working conditions, continuous working temperature up to 600°C.
Tongue-Groove sealing design keeps gasket fully enclosed inside the groove. It avoids gasket blow-out under pressure fluctuation, delivers reliable tightness for flammable and dangerous medium. It works together with TG-type spectacle blind for positive isolation during equipment overhaul.
Special attention has to be paid to the
Tongue-Groove sealing faces of WN flanges and spectacle blinds.
These sealing surfaces are extremely vulnerable to impact and scratch.
we adopt robust protection measures for Tongue-Groove sealing faces:
1. Cover the tongue-groove faces with thick hard plastic guard plates;
2. Use high-strength pressure-resistant
foam fully filling the groove cavity;
3. Each component is individually separated
inside fumigated wooden case, firmly fixed to eliminate shifting, shaking and collision during long-distance railway transportation to Yekaterinburg.
This prevents damage caused by vibration and jolting during transit, to guarantee perfect sealing performance on site.
