1. First, lay the two ends of the pipe fittings that need to be connected flat on a horizontal surface. When installing, first lay the firmly fixed end of the pipe fittings flat.
2. Next, rotate the flange on the flexible rubber joint to align the flange holes around it. Thread in screws, tighten nuts, and then align the flange on the other end of the pipe fitting horizontally with the flange on the flexible rubber joint. Rotate the flange on the flexible rubber joint to make the flange mouth face each other. Turn on screws and nuts horizontally to tightly connect the three to prevent loose sealing.
When installing the rubber joint, the extruder screw of the anchor bolt should extend to both sides of the connection head, and the anchor bolt in the inner hole of each flange plate should be continuously and evenly tightened by pressing at the top angle to prevent compression deviation. The threaded joint should be tightened uniformly with a standardized wrench, and the use of a point rod should not cause the movable joint to slip, edge, or crack. Regular maintenance should be carried out to prevent loosening and causing tray or leakage.

Precautions for installation of rubber expansion joint

1.Before installation, suitable models and specifications need to be selected based on the pressure, interface method, material, and compensation amount of the pipeline, and the total number should be selected according to the regulations on sound insulation and noise reduction displacement. Pay attention to the adjustment of working pressure. When the pipeline causes a momentary working pressure and exceeds the pressure, a connector with a gear higher than the pressure should be used.
2. At the same time, when the pipeline material is strong acid, alkali, oil, high temperature, or other special raw materials, a connector that is one gear higher than the pipeline pressure should be used. The flange plate connecting the rubber joint should be a valve flange or a flange plate in accordance with GB/T9115-2000.
3. Note that the rubber joint should be pressurized and tightened again before being put into operation after being subjected to force, such as after installation or before being shut down for a long time and reopened.
4. Pay attention to its temperature adjustment. All normal suitable media are general water with a temperature between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius. When substances such as oil, strong acids and alkalis, high temperatures, and other corrosive and hard colored conditions are present, rubber joints with corresponding raw materials should be used instead of blindly following the wind or using them universally.
5. Timely and timely maintenance and upkeep of rubber joints should be carried out. For example, in the application or storage of rubber joints, high temperature, reactive oxygen species, oil, and strong acid and alkali natural environment should be prevented. At the same time, it is necessary to fully consider the brittleness problem of rubber handicrafts, so it is necessary to build a shading frame for outdoor or windward pipelines, and prohibit exposure to sunlight, rain, and wind erosion.
